God created humans to live in community with Him and with each other.  We believe the Gospel makes that possible.  The church then is more than just a place to feel good about yourself or to see friendly (but unknown) faces.  It is a home, a safe place to know and be known by others and to serve others with the love of Jesus.

The ministries at Grace begin with what is true of God and true of us in the Gospel.  As we embrace those truths by faith in Jesus, God transforms us into people who love Him and love others with hearts that are being made whole.  We believe that we embrace God's truth best when we receive it from His Word, the Bible, and so all of our ministries seek to be rooted in the Scriptures.

The Scriptures teach that God has truly redeemed us, but He has redeemed us for a purpose.  We are blessed so that we may be a blessing to others (Genesis 12:1-3).  We are saved so that we can tell others about God's salvation made possible by Jesus (Matthew 28:18-20).  We are chosen by God so that we might join Him in the restoration of this world by the works He gives to us (Ephesians 2:10).

Toward that end, our ministries seek "to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ..." (Ephesians 4:12-13).  Maturity in Christ is the goal of our ministries...maturity that leads to love, obedience and service of God and others.
