Maturity in Christ is both a process and a goal at Grace.
We want people to deeply own what is true of them by faith in Jesus. Our sins are forgiven. Our standing before God is as beloved children because of Jesus. We are new creations in Christ. And this is all won for us through the death and resurrection of Jesus of Nazareth who reigns now as our prophet, priest and king.
And we want people to respond to the grace that has been given to them in love for God, love for neighbor and joyfully entering in the mission of God.
Our ministry to adults begins and ends with the Word of God. From our worship services on Sunday mornings to our weekly small groups to our conversations with each other during the week, we seek to root ourselves in the truth of God.
And we have found that centering ourselves around God's Word also draws us closer to each other in community. Each of our ministries is meant to form us into a community of faith, people who are secure in their identity in Christ and willing to be honest, transparent and loving toward others. Make no mistake; for broken people community is sometimes messy but we were made for community with God and other humans. We seek to live out both at Grace.
